• A reminder of our shared humanity and interdependence.
• A pathway to centre love, reconciliation, and collective care.
We define peace as the generative force that emerges when individuals share what matters most – we see each unique person as an essential part of the whole.
We are using the power of storytelling to heal, transform, and connect. We believe that gratitude is a powerful antidote to despair and isolation. And that curiosity prompts a dialogue with the potential to connect us beyond our differences.
We all have the power to make a difference and this collection of stories will become an art installation, both online and in person in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada as a demonstration of our commitment to heal societal fragmentation in an era of heightened polarization.
We invite you to share your story with us as soon as possible for the Seeds for Peace project. Your unique perspective and experiences can contribute significantly to our collective understanding and pursuit of peace. We are accepting all art forms – digital picture, a youtube link to your video story, typed text, a handwritten note, a painting, or anything else that portrays your story of someone who has made a difference in your life and the impact they had.
Every story shared is a seed planted, fostering empathy, breaking down barriers, and sowing the seeds of peace in our communities and beyond. Your voice matters, and your story has the power to make a difference.
Please don’t hesitate to submit your story today. Together, let’s cultivate a world where understanding triumphs over division and compassion guides our actions.
We look forward to receiving your story and being a part of this transformative planting of the Seeds for Peace together!
You are the change you wish to see in the world and we invite you to contribute your story to the Seeds for Peace project as soon as possible via this form or by contacting us at info@arottawa.ca
